The dream began on the plains of Africa. I arrived on the battlefield as the advancing army was taking position to attack the forces I shared allegiance with. The advancing army, with their spears and loincloths seemed either unaware of me or not permitted to take any action against me. I passed them by and - having reached my allies, I walked up the line.
At some point I was given two scythe shaped blades, I assume to have been carved from bone. Holding these in front of me, I looked down and thought, "fuck this."
Behind the line of warriors was a rocky incline covered in trees and I proceeded to ascend into the thicket. It was not so much strategic advantage I was looking for as a complete escape from the primal.
A trail into the rocky underbrush led to openings in the rock that formed tunnels leading deeper into the rocky fortress. Within this hill were, what seemed, like abandon walkways which eventually gave way to rooms, both industrial in nature as well as accompanying personal rooms that would have been housing units.
I was still aware of the battlefield below me, and took a final glance before moving into the tunnels. It was within one of these chambers that I first saw a person moving towards me from the entrance. They had not seen me so I would move further into the mountain. I entered into personal quarters and, upon hearing more movement, hid under a table. Feet walk past me, then pause before reaching under the table and motioning for me to climb out.
The person is female and of European descent, which is a bit of a surprise, considering I am in Africa. She leads me through the chambers to a larger area where five of her companions are waiting for me. The leader is an elderly Hawaiian female whom I recognize as the Anu'a. I ask her if I can stay with them, as I am trying to escape all the people associated with the primal world.
